On May 16th, 2020, join us on the ride for Austin of Viroqua, WI. Last June Austin was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer. Austin slipped into what’s called posterior Fossa Syndrome as a result of the tumor removal, which caused him to loose his ability to walk, talk and eat.
Thankfully, with hard work, Austin was able to regain his speech back and hopes he he will be able to walk again someday soon! He is very much looking forward to having a summer he can enjoy this year and we want to give that to Austin and his family. His “wish” is for a Northwoods lake getaway where he can spend time with his family relaxing, sightseeing and enjoy himself. With your help we will make this wish come true!
This years ride is Saturday, May 16th, 2020. With the current environment, Big Bikes for Little Tikes is going to be a bit… well, different. Instead of massing in large groups, we will be exercising a little distancing, but STILL RIDING for 4th Grader Austin Widner from Viroqua.
But how’s it going to work? We’re doing a Ride-By Run to Viroqua where we’ll stage a ride-by motorcycle “parade” to Austin’s home! Since he can’t join all of us… WE’LL RIDE TO HIM! No Route – No Stops – No Problem. If you’d like to be apart of the 2020 Big Bikes for Little Tikes event, register here.
We thank all of you for being understanding of the changes and hope to see you all, as everyone adjusts to the safety guidelines, and our new normal. With your help, we can still make Austin’s Dream come true… after all, it’s not his fault somebody started off Armageddon. You can’t stop us from riding. Only adjust how it’s done.
